| Tiamat have established themselves as a premiere Gothic metal band due to mainman Johan Edlund's superior songwriting ability, often garnering the band praise as the Pink Floyd of the dark wave world. Prey is Tiamat's 8th studio album and it certainly fails to disappoint! Fans of the band will continue to salivate over this album, as they have over previous releases, while Goth metal fans unfamiliar with the band (is such a thing possible?) will find themselves addicted to the dark romanticism that defines the essence of Tiamat. A highly recommended album. |
