| Lamia Tenebrae is one of those bands that defies description and makes it difficult to find accurate reference points to fairly describe their music. The closest, viable comparison would be a Type O Negative-influenced Depeche Mode with a female vocalist who sings a bit like Iggy Pop. Eclectic '80s New Wave Goth Metal might be a phrase close to the truth. Frontwoman Lamia sings with a heavy French accent, making her vocals quite alluring. Inquisition is definitely an off-center album that will appeal to Goth fans and those with a penchant for dark '80s New Wave. |
