Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Witchkrieg was formed not only as an outlet for heavy music creativity, but also to further pagan involvement in metal. Comprised of three practicing neopagans, Witchkrieg's music is fairly straightforward metal of the traditional sort, primarily mid-paced and guitar driven. The band's first album suffers from production issues and demonstrates that the group still has considerable tightening to do, but overall hints at solid potential.
