Inspired while attending the legendary first Rock In Rio festival, the four members of this Brazilian band got together in the late '80s to emulate their idols - AC/DC, Ozzy, and of course Iron Maiden. As most teenage metal bands go, however, Terminator didn't last and the four young men went on with their lives. In 2001, they found the desire to make the music they love too great to resist and so reformed the band and soon thereafter released their debut album Sanctuary Of Fear. While sticking faithfully to their earliest influences, the band weaves in modern metal and power metal elements to create a unique sound that can best be described as a cross between Dokken, Alice In Chains, and a bit of Helloween.
