Citing influences such as Black Sabbath, Mötorhead and Soundgarden, New York-based Supervillain is etching a place for themselves with their brand of sludgy metal. Driving riffs, distinct vocals, and superb skinwork point to a very promising road ahead for the band. Fans who like their metal a little doomy (akin to Monster Magnet) with melody and grit should give Supervillain a listen.
