Carrying on the hard rock traditions of the '80s, Lochinvar is a female-fronted duo from just outside of Dallas, TX. Originating in the Hair Metal days of the mid-1980's, the band released a couple of demos and began to garner a significant amount of airplay in their home state. John departed the band in 1991, and Lochinvar became dormant until 1996 when John rejoined and an acoustic demo was released. Simultaneously, Paula launched her own solo career (not metal-oriented, more of a pop/techno sound). In 2001, the band packaged material from their previous demos as their self-titled full-length debut, followed up in 2005 by the new material of Fire Eyes. Lochinvar will be of interest to fans of '80s metal and hard rock icons such as Dokken, Judas Priest, and of course Heart.
