Lechery originated as a side project fronted by Martin Bengtsson, former bass player of Swedish Death Metal outfits Arch Enemy and Armageddon. The music displayed on the band's premiere demo contains none of the extreme metal elements one would expect from a group of performers whose primary background was in the Death Metal genre. Instead, the 4 songs are excellent melodic metal compositions combining clean vocals, outstanding guitar harmonies, and the tasteful use of keyboards. Should the sound displayed on their demo carry forward to their debut full-length, expect great things for Lechery.
