Metal bands from Switzerland are not as rare a thing as they once were, but the Swiss remain not particularly known for their contributions to the metal world. Grimind have taken a step to rectify such notions by putting forth two quality demos of atmospheric Gothic metal akin to H.I.M., recent Tiamat, and Sentenced. Reduced to a three-piece after the release of Escaped From Life, the band looks to carry on in this configuration with several band members sharing musical responsibilities. In any case, this up-and-coming band looks to have a bright future.
