Hailing from my hometown of Detroit, Ghetto Puppet was a solid four-piece that created a fantastic mix of metal, heavy rock, and a bit of blues. Frontwoman and uber Rock Babe Carolyn Stone is also a DJ on Detroit's oldest and best rock station WRIF 101.1 FM. Having rocked the Detroit scene for more than two years, Ghetto Puppet opened for acts such as Kittie, Ratt, and Warrant. Songs From The Floor captures the energy and emotion the band exhibits live, and is a album that I highly recommend to anyone browsing this site.
Unfortunately, Ghetto Puppet officially ceased to exist in February of 2003 citing the all too-common "musical differences" as the cause of their split.
