When '80s glam metal outfit Kix disbanded shortly after the grunge invasion, frontman Steve Whiteman was compelled to carry on where Kix had left off and so formed Funny Money. Releasing a couple albums of bluesy hard rock very similar to that of Whiteman's former band and others of the era such as Poison and Ratt, several members left the band after the live album was released. Recruiting former Kix drummer Jimmy Chalfant, as well as other local musicians, Whiteman resurrected Funny Money and released Skin To Skin. Not departing from the formula of previous releases, this latest album will appeal to fans of '80s hard rock.
