Germany has long been known as a producer of epic power metal bands such as Helloween, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, and many others. Destination's Calling adheres to the tried-and-true German formula on their self-produced debut album, though instead of fantasy-themed lyrics there is an almost overt Christian message in their songwriting. While certainly not innovators, fans of the aforementioned bands will enjoy Mastery Of The Light.
