Demonic Symphony is somewhat of a misnomer in this case. Instead of symphonic extreme metal, as one would guess from the name, the band plies the waters of melodic metal while adding a touch of dark atmospheres. Formed by bass player and frontwoman "Darlana" and guitarist "Sushanoo", Demonic Symphony was originally fronted by guitarist Lukael. In a wise decision, Lukael left the band after the first demo and was replaced on the microphone by Darlana. Having a powerful voice comparable to Lita Ford and Doro Pesch, Darlana is pleasing to listen to but at the same time conveys enough attitude to keep any true metalhead content. Fans of the aforementioned metal maidens will find Demonic Symphony an enjoyable band to experience.
