The UK's Crimson Tears was formed in 2003 by guitarist Dave Miller, who wished to launch a project that would capture the commercial feel of bands such as Nightwish and After Forever. Symphonic metal with operatic vocals is what you'd expect from Crimson Tears, and that's exactly what they deliver. Not ones to venture far from their influences, the band nonetheless provides a solid example of the genre.
