Proclaiming themselves the vanguard of the NWOSHM (New Wave Of Swedish Heavy Metal), the Gothenburg-based members of Commander excel at emulating their NWOBHM heroes - Saxon, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Mötorhead. Their music is a fairly standard barroom "Glory to Denim" type of metal. Fans of the aforementioned bands may find something to enjoy here, providing they can stomach the over-the-top lyrics.
