Taking form in 1997 as a female-fronted '80s metal cover band, the members of Black Widow drew upon their years of experience in the metal scene to create original songs capturing the heaviest elements of bands such as Judas Priest, Dokken, and of course Iron Maiden. The band is hard-driving and melodic, with vocalist Cat providing an intense and emotional alternative to the ever-growing crowd of bands returning to the sound of the '80s.
