Black Sky is an emerging atmospheric metal band comprised of several veterans of the Calgary metal scene. Having been in primarily death metal bands before founding Black Sky, the musicians bring to the table much in the way of their former style of metal while also incorporating a significant amount of Gothic and progressive elements. Utilizing both clean female vocals and aggressive male growls, their balance of brutality and melody will appeal to fans of bands like In Flames, Tristania, and Theatre of Tragedy.
