Hailing from Los Angeles, Beggars Ball is a Stoner/Doom Rock band fried in the Southern tradition of bands such as Monster Magnet and Saliva. Formed in 2004 by guitarist Eddie Brnabic, the band released their first full-length only a year later. Soon after that release, however, creative differences led to bass player David Huet's departure. The band continued to gig with fill-in bassists until Luciano Ferrea was found, and before long their sophomore effort was released. Thick, down-tuned guitars with Revelle's slight drawl add up to a quality sound much like that plied by the aforementioned bands.
