Paying homage to '80s classic metal bands such as Omen, Angelwitch, and Cirith Ungol - and in fact beginning as a cover band playing tunes from the aforementioned groups - Battle Ram stick to the hallmark classic metal sound of yesteryear. There's absolutely nothing innovative about Battle Ram's music, but they honor their influences with quality musicianship and skill. Classic metal purists will be delighted by what these Italians have to offer.
