As 2010 comes to a close there's much afoot within the hallowed halls of Harvest Moon Music. That in itself is a significant change, since the past year has been spent on hiatus while yours truly focused on taking care of some non-metal business around the homestead. With those things now much improved and running smoothly, my focus has once more returned to writing about the best (and, occasionally, the worst) metal and hard rock the world has to offer.
The first result of the Harvest Moon Music resurgence is the new look. When the site first launched in the spring of 2002, it was all about static HTML and tedious updates and linking. The explosion of the blogosphere over the past couple of years caused me to rethink how best to deliver Harvest Moon's metallic content, and so I've shifted the data from a more traditional website to a blog format. In addition to being able to maintain the site more easily, the format not only allows me to better arrange the reviews for easier consumption but also opens the door to offering more types of content - such as the videos. Hopefully you'll agree that the move was for the best!
I know everybody has some sort of a gathering to get to tonight (I being no exception) so I'll wrap it up. Have a safe New Year's Eve and a Happy, Heavy New Year!
